ROTBLOC INSTALLATIONS
Installing ROTBLOC Products are very simple. Here you will find step by step installation instructions for each of our products to make installing easier and faster.
Chemically Treated Pole Installation
Measure and add two inches for the overlap. Cut along vertical 2 in. increment guidelines with a utility knife.
Wrap post tightly and tack it with a tack hammer and construction grade 1/2 in. steel staples down the seam.
Ranch Fencing Perforated Installation
1. Perforated rolls can be ordered in single, pallet and truckload quantities. Orders can be customized to your specific dimensions in the 13.5, 20 and 30 inch commercial ag rolls.

2. Tear down the seam.
​
3. Wrap your pole tightly with a 2 inch overlap.
​
4. Use a tack hammer with construction grade steel staples, and tack down the seam from top to bottom.
​
5. Set your pole with the groundline indicator level with your groundline, with two inches of ROTBLOC showing above the groundline to protect from the soil, UVA and moisture which break down
and weaken your wood fibers.
ROTBLOC 4X4 Installation
1. With two inches above your ground-line, align your groundline with the word “groundline” on the 4X4 sheet of ROTBLOC and tack down from top to bottom with a tack hammer and construction grade staples.

2. Wrap all four sides, tacking down from the top to bottom.

3. REPEAT

4. With a two inch overlap on your last side, tack down tightly from top to bottom to finish wrapping your post.

5. Tack all the way to the bottom.
​
6. When ROTBLOC has been wrapped, your post should sit with two inches of ROTBLOC showing above the ground to protect against the soil, UVA and moisture damage which weakens the wood fibers above the groundline.
ROTBLOC 6X6 Installation
1. With two inches above your ground-line, align your groundline with the word “groundline” on the 6X6 sheet of ROTBLOC and tack down from top to bottom with a tack hammer and construction grade staples.

2. Wrap all four sides, tacking down from the top to bottom.

3. REPEAT

4. With a two inch overlap on your last side, tack down tightly from top to bottom to finish wrapping your post.

5. Tack all the way to the bottom.
​
6. When ROTBLOC has been wrapped, your post should sit with two inches of ROTBLOC showing above the ground to protect against the soil, UVA and moisture damage which weakens the wood fibers above the groundline.
